Connector Privacy Policy

Last updated October 9, 2026

Connector is an app for Social Connector accounts. It reads the notification emails your network marketing or direct sales company sends you and updates the contacts in your account. This policy explains what Connector stores, why, for how long, and how to have it deleted.

What Connector collects

  • Emails you forward to your Connector address. We store the sender, subject, date and text of each email so Connector can read it and show it to you in your Inbox.
  • What Connector finds in those emails: names, email addresses, phone numbers, customer and order numbers, order totals, products and dates of your customers and team members.
  • Links to your contacts: the ID of each contact Connector updated, and the order and customer numbers that belong to it, so later emails find the same person.
  • Your account connection: an access key that lets Connector read and update the contacts, tags and custom fields in your account. It's stored encrypted.
  • Your settings: the choices you make on the Rules tab and any email types you correct.
  • Your lead page, if you turn it on: your photo, name and the words you write. When someone fills it in, we keep the first name, phone or email and answers they give, and when they agreed to hear from you, and add them to your contacts.
  • People you add with the + button: the name, phone or email and note you enter. Photos of business cards or screenshots are read and not kept.

Connector doesn't collect payment card numbers, passwords for your company's back office, or anything from your email account other than the emails you forward to it.

How Connector uses it

  • To work out what each email is about and which contact it belongs to.
  • To update that contact's details, tags and custom fields in your account, when you approve it or when you've set that kind of email to Do it automatically.
  • To fix problems and improve how accurately Connector reads emails.

We don't sell your data or use it for advertising, and we don't contact your customers.

Services that process it for us

  • Anthropic (Claude AI) reads each email to work out what it says. Anthropic doesn't use this data to train its models.
  • Resend receives the emails you forward.
  • Railway hosts Connector and its database in the United States.
  • HighLevel, the platform your Social Connector account runs on, holds your contacts.

How long we keep it

  • Emails that aren't about your business (newsletters, personal mail): the text is deleted as soon as Connector reads it. Only a one-line summary is kept.
  • Business emails: the text is deleted after 90 days. What Connector found in them (names, orders, dates) is kept while Connector is installed, so your contacts' history stays accurate.
  • When you uninstall Connector: we disconnect your account straight away. Your stored emails, what was found in them, any history you brought in and your settings are kept for 30 days, so reinstalling picks up where you left off, then deleted. To have them deleted sooner, contact us (below).

Tags and custom fields Connector added to your contacts stay in your account until you remove them.

Your choices

  • You decide which emails reach Connector, through your email filter.
  • Every kind of email waits for your approval unless you switch it to Do it automatically.
  • To have your data deleted without uninstalling, or to ask what we hold, contact support@socialconnector.ai.

Security

Your forwarding address is random and private to your account. Account connections are stored encrypted, and all traffic uses HTTPS.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
